The policy

Ask within 14 days of buying and you get a full refund. You do not need to explain yourself, and there is nothing to return — your licence is simply deactivated.

How to request one

Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record for this product, so they process the payment and the refund. Contact them at support@dodopayments.comwith the email address you used at checkout, or your order number from the receipt.

You can also write to us at support@getresettle.com and we will sort it out with them.

Refunds go back to the original payment method. How long it takes to appear is up to your bank, and is usually a few business days.

Before you ask for one

If Resettle isn't behaving, it is often one of two things, and both take a minute to check:

Accessibility permission. macOS will not let any app move windows without it. Check System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
Resettle hasn't learned the desk yet. Open the menu bar icon and choose "Remember This Layout" once, with your windows where you want them.

We would rather fix it than take your money for something that isn't working. But if you would rather just have the refund, that is fine too — ask and it is done.

After the refund window

Past 14 days we look at requests case by case. If the app is broken for you and we cannot fix it, we will refund you.

What a refund does to your licence

Your licence key is deactivated and Resettle stops working on the machines it was activated on. Your locally stored window layouts are not touched — they stay on your Mac until you delete the app's data.

Chargebacks

Please ask for a refund before raising a chargeback. A chargeback on a $14.99 utility costs more to process than the product itself, and we will refund you anyway.
