1. Who you are dealing with

Resettle is published by The Cosmos ("we", "us"), operating from India.

Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record. The sale itself is a contract between you and them. They take payment, charge any applicable tax, issue your receipt, and handle order enquiries and returns. Their terms apply to the transaction; these terms apply to the software.

2. What you are buying

A licence to use Resettle, a macOS utility that remembers where your application windows belong across display setups and restores them.

$14.99, once. Not a subscription. No recurring charge.
Up to 3 Macs. One licence key, activated on as many as 3 machines you own or control.
Major updates included. Your licence does not expire.

3. What the licence allows

You may install and use Resettle for personal or business purposes on your permitted machines, and deactivate a machine to move the licence to another one.

You may not:

Share, resell, sublicense, rent or publish your licence key.
Copy, modify, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the software, except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded.
Remove or alter any notices in the software.
Work around the licensing or activation limits.

Resettle is commercial, closed-source software. We keep all rights in it that these terms do not expressly grant you.

4. What Resettle needs to run

A Mac running macOS.
Accessibility permission. macOS requires it before any app can read or move another app's windows. Resettle cannot restore layouts without it.
Occasional internet access. See the next section — this one matters.

5. Licence validation

Resettle confirms your licence with Dodo Payments from time to time while you are online. It keeps working normally offline for a grace period.

If the app cannot validate your licence for an extended period, it stops working until it can reach the licensing service again. Your locally stored layouts are not deleted, and normal operation resumes once validation succeeds. We are telling you this plainly because it is a real constraint on a permanently offline machine.

7. Updates and changes

We may release updates that change, add or remove functionality. We aim to keep Resettle doing what this website says it does. If we ever have to discontinue the product, your existing installations keep working as long as licence validation continues to operate.

8. No warranty

Resettle is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will correctly restore every window in every configuration — macOS, other applications and hardware all affect that.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data or lost time, arising from your use of Resettle. Our total liability for any claim relating to the software is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including your statutory consumer rights.

10. Ending the licence

Your licence ends if you materially breach these terms, in particular by sharing or reselling your key. You may stop using Resettle at any time by deleting it.

11. Using this website

The content of getresettle.com, including its text, design and product illustrations, belongs to us. You may link to it and quote it reasonably. Do not copy it wholesale or present it as your own.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The transaction itself is additionally subject to Dodo Payments's terms.
